SSC GD exam stands for Staff Selection Commission and General Duty Constable. SSC GD exam pattern- 

The SSC Exam is held online as well as offline mode and contains a total of 160 marks. The exam also has a negative marking of 0.50 per question. Hence, students need to be quite careful while solving the exam papers. The duration of the exam is one hour and is held in both Hindi and English languages. Now, Let us understand the exam modes. Computer-based exam-

The computer-based exam is generally made up of multiple-choice questions that need to be answered by the students in online mode. These mcqs will also have negative markings; hence, students should keep this in mind and only solve the question paper. Each question contains 2 marks, and there is a total of 80 questions, which means the total exam is 160 marks.

Physical efficiency test- 

The test checks the students' physical ability in various ways to determine whether they are physically efficient for the open job position.

Physical standard test- 

The physical standard test includes running, jumping, and other practices that will further decide the student's fate in the SSC GD Exams. 

Medical Examination- 

The medical examination will check the students' medical conditions like height, weight, BMS, any medical disabilities a person has, and much more.

SSC GD Syllabus-

The syllabus and subjects of the SSC GD exam patterns are divided into four parts. All the students should focus their best on all these subjects to pass the examination with flying colors. They are as follows-

1) General Intelligence and reasoning- 

This section includes topics related to the non-verbal questions, and the students have to find their answers using diagrams, logic, and general intelligence. The area generally includes clock theories, puzzles, observation, discrimination, coding, decoding, etc.

2) General knowledge- 

This section tests the students' general knowledge concerning current affairs and happenings in our country. The ability can also be tested on the history of incidents. The unit includes our history, sports, business, geography, politics, etc.

3) Mathematics- 

This section includes all the math-related questions and the topics covered in the official syllabus. Some cases are ratios & proportions, averages, percentages, discounts, time work, decimals, fractions, and more.

4) English- 

The English subject's syllabus and topics include filling in the blanks and giving answers using paragraph information, spellings, synonyms, phrases, antonyms, and much more.
